The Acting Professor of the department of clinical allergology, immunology and microbiology L. S. Seksenova within the framework of the academic mobility program from the 26 of November till the 7 of December, 2018 worked at the Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino at the departments of normal physiology and pathological physiology, pathological anatomy and forensic medicine, microbiology, virology and immunology.

Bukhara State Medical Institute was organized in October, 1990 by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan. By a decree of the Presidium of the Regional Council of People's Deputies of the Bukhara Region the institute was named after Abu Ali ibn Sino (Avicenna) in March, 1991. For a short period of its existence, the medical institute of Bukhara has become one of the leading medical schools in Uzbekistan with the best educational, cultural and scientific traditions. The education at the university is conducted in Uzbek and Russian on four faculties (medical, pediatric, dental, medical pedagogy and higher nursing care). The activity of the team and the rector of the university, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Amrillo Shodiyevich Inoyatov is aimed at improving the quality of education and research using the international experience and standards.

The departments have a highly professional faculty, with whom L. S. Seksenova met and worked productively for two weeks. The staff of the department under the guidance of associate professors I. S. Sadikova (normal physiology and pathological physiology), G. B. Zhurayeva (pathological anatomy and forensic examination) and S. F. Suleimanov (microbiology, virology and immunology) created good conditions for classes and lectures.

In accordance with the thematic plan, the lectures and practical exercises in the section of «Immunology» among students of 2, 3 courses of the «General Medicine» and «Pediatrics» specialties were conducted. Interactive teaching methods and multimedia were actively used in lectures and practical training.

The memorandum of relations between Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sino and Karaganda State Medical University in the framework of academic mobility provides the opportunity to exchange experiences and communicate with foreign colleagues.
