In the period from 12 to 24 November 2018, the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Disciplines and Chemistry I.Losseva worked at Kursk State Medical University at the Department of Management and Economics of Pharmacy under the program of academic mobility.

Kursk State Medical University is one of the leading medical universities in Russia with a rich history and the best educational, cultural and scientific traditions. Education at the university is conducted in 12 degree programs, including pharmacy. The Faculty of Pharmacy was founded in 1966. During the program, I. Losseva had an opportunity to meet, exchange experience and work together with a highly professional faculty of the department.

 The faculty of the Department of Management and Economics  of Pharmacy under the leadership of Professor I.Razdorskaya provided I.Losseva with excellent working conditions, which established an opportunity to work effectively with the students. As a part of the educational process, classes were held with students of the 4th and 5th years of study in the degree program of pharmacy on the subject of “Management and Economics of Pharmacy”. Lectures were given on the pharmaceutical products supply system, as well as classes on the organization of the retail pharmacy service. In practical classes, the methodology of “group work” was utilized.

An interdepartmental agreement on cooperation between the two departments in Kursk and Karagandy was signed in May 2018. The program of academic mobility for I.Losseva was the very first result of this cooperation. This gives hope for its successful continuation. The program of academic exchange gives the faculty members a unique opportunity to share their pedagogical experience, acquire new knowledge, as well as communicate and develop cooperation with colleagues abroad.
