Diabetes under control
On November 21, the participants of the «Жұлдыз» Youth
Health Center (headed by Ondas Zhumagaliyev) took part in the event dedicated
to the “World Diabetes Day”.
The main purpose of the event is to draw attention of the public and local executive bodies to the prevention of this disease.
The organizers of the event prepared a practical training on “How to protect yourself from diabetes?”, aimed at training people to calculate the excess body weight and a seminar on “12 principles of healthy eating” where the principles of healthy eating, and the characteristics and needs of the proper functioning of the human body have been discussed.
At the end of the action, all the participants received certificates of appreciation for their active participation in the work.
