On November 7, 2018 within the framework of the implementation of the “Rukhany Zangyru” program objectives, to clarify the article of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev “Future outlook: Modernization of Public Consciousness” organized by the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social-political disciplines, an interuniversity scientific-methodical “Round Table” was held. The scientists of Karaganda State Medical University and Karaganda State University named after E.A. Buketov, first-year students of the “General Medicine” speciality participated in this event.

The Dean of the School of Public Health and Pharmacy, PhD Serik Bakhtiyar and the Head of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and the social-political disciplines, Associate Professor K.A. Temirgaliev addressed the “Round Table” participants with the welcoming remarks. The moderators of the “Round Table” were teachers, Candidates of Historical Sciences, Associate Professors – A.E. Daniyarova and B.S. Malybayeva.

As part of the Round Table, the meeting with one of the winners of the “100 New Faces of Kazakhstan” project – Alimkhanova Roza Seytkalievna was held. She is the Professor of the Department of Surgical Diseases №2 of KSMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, author of the unique method of non-surgical treatment of the musculoskeletal system pathology in young children which caused great interest among students and teachers.

At the “Round Table” there were speeches by the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Archeology, Ethnology and National History, Senior Research scientist of the “Tulgatanu” Research Center of KSU named after E.A. Buketov – L.K. Shotbakova “The role of local history researches in the formation of the spiritual consciousness of the younger generation”; the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and the s social-political disciplines of KSMU  B.K. Kyzdarbekov  – “The role and contribution of medical workers of Kazakhstan of the end of  XIX and the beginning of XX centuries”; the Head of the Department of World History and International Relations of  KSU named after E.A. Buketov, Candidate of Historical Sciences, docent B.T. Tuleuova “The Contribution of female medical workers to the development of the Central Kazakhstan in the 1930 and 40s of the XX century“; Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan and social-political disciplines of KSMU B.G. Nugman “An individual in History”.

According to the results of the work of the “Round Table”, a Resolution was adopted, and teachers and students – active participants of the event were awarded with Certificates signed by the Principle of Karaganda State Medical University, Professor R.S. Dosmagambetova.
