This May, the “Internship” team made up of senior students became the winner of the university football championship. It is interesting that the team without trained players, most of the participants did not practice any sports before and played only street football became the champion.

However, the success of the team is not accidental. The sportsmen went to their aim for a long time, working hard on themselves. Each one had several years of participation in the university championships, hundreds of matches, dozens of tournaments, scored goals, offensive defeats and bright victories ...

 It all started like this... After entering the university, yesterday's entrants learned that KSMU has its own football championship. Out of curiosity, they visited one game then another then a few more ... They liked the tournament and they began to attend regularly. A few months later became the participants without any success at first.

  Over time, experience and understanding came. As future doctors began to work systematically: they carefully analyzed the mistakes, looked for weaknesses of their opponents, worked out tactical options and most importantly, constantly worked on themselves. The first successes came with the growth of sportsmanship: first, individual and then the team successes. Sportsmen fulfilled their dream by winning the KSMU championship and decided to move to a new level - to become participants of the Karaganda region championship.

  Participation in tournaments of such a rank is expensive, but the desire to test yourself in games with the strongest teams in the region helped overcome financial difficulties. The players themselves paid the entry fee of 260,000 tenge, themselves bought the form and balls and rented the gym for training. Participants unanimously wanted to name their team the “KSMU”, in honor of their beloved “alma mater”.Since there is a team of KSMU in the Premier League, they decided to name the team in honor of the future profession: MFC “Medic”.

  In early November, the mini-football club "Medic" was composed of: Abildinov Azamat (6-100 GM), Abay Maksat (7-025 GM), Bimurzinov Omirserik (7-085 GM), Kairbekov Almat (7-083 GM), Omirzak Nizamiddin (7-083 GM), Rakhymbayev Alibek (4-004 GM), Kaparov Darkhan (6-023 GM), Yermekbayev Isa (7-026 GM), Seydіn Aybar (7-091 GM), Әbdіkhamitov Ersіn (5-038 GM) and team captain Nurushev Zharkyn (6-045 GM) representing the Karaganda State Medical University successfully debuted in the III league of the region football championship, beating the Akzhal team 2:0. Rakhymbaev Alibek and Seydіn Aybar scored a goal each.
