On 1-2 November 2018, The International Conference "Actual questions of medicine of labor in Kazakhstan: Chrysotile and Health" was held in Karaganda State Medical University

In which was attended by scientists from Russia, India, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, it was presented more than 40 reports.

The reports dealt with modern scientific areas of hygienic, clinical, epidemiological and experimental studies, occupational medicine in the context of health care reform and the transition to digital technology.

At the same time we discussed the problem of assessment and management of occupational health risks of employees, including chrysotile industry.

As a result, it was decided:

1. To admit professional risks urgent results of scientific researches according to appreciation of and control, supplying of safe working conditions, preservation and strengthening of health of working, including the workers of хризотилового production.
  2. To consider necessity of use chrysotile on the principle of scientific varied approach of differentiation of influence to the organism of asbestos of amphibole group and asbestos of
chrysotile group, and result -chrysotile-asbestos is safe for the controlled use of  its in modern industry, should be the base of official position of  Kazakhstan on international level.
  3. Continue research on the effects of chrysotile on the health of workers and the public, including developing a Kazakhstan program to eliminate asbestos-related diseases and develop an information technology to manage occupational risks.
