On October 5-6, 2018, the 6^th scientific-practical conference  with international participation "Foreground directions of rehabilitology and balneology" was held in Astana on the basis of CF UMC. The key issues were discussed in terms of aspects of activities in the field of medical and socio-pedagogical rehabilitation, balneology. The conference was attended by 239 people from different regions of Kazakhstan and specialists from Russia, Germany, Lithuania, and Kyrgyzstan. 46 reports and 6 poster papers were presented.

At the conference, a second year doctoral student of the KSMU (specialty "Medicine") Dubovikhin Alexandr made a presentation, the supervisor is Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Sheveleva Nailya Igorevna.

The report was devoted to the problems of diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation of patients with flat feet. The presentation ended with an active discussion of these problems and made a strong impression on the audience.

At the end of the conference, a resolution was adopted, and a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Association of Rehabilitologists and Balneologists was held, at which they reviewed the draft roadmap for the rehabilitation of children with cerebral palsy.
