The X Congress of the Association of Cardiologists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The V Congress of therapists of the Republic of Kazakhstan, The IX Congress of the Association of Cardiologists of the Turkic World was held from 06/06/2018 to 8.06. 2018 in Almaty, in the hotel of RIXOS Almaty. The work of the Congress was attended by scientists from the European Association of Cardiology, from the countries of near and far abroad. The program of The Congress was scheduled from 09.00 to 18.00, interesting and varied in format (speaker lectures, lunch symposiums, oral presentations, discussions) and is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of thrombosis, chronic heart failure, a new concept for the prevention of cardiovascular events: innovative polypill, a master class was conducted on autoimmune diseases in rheumatology. Within the framework of the Congress a competition of young scientists was held, which presented 16 reports. The Karaganda State Medical University represented by an assistant  of the Department of Internal Diseases No. 1 Roza Bodaubay, the scientific adviser MD, Professor D.Zh.Tayzhanova, who took the 2nd prize place at the Congress. Poster presentation was also presented by a master's student of the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 A.B. Kalimbetova.
