25th European International Congress on Thrombosis
From 23rd to 26 of May the 25th
International Congress on Thrombosis organized by the European and
Mediterranean League was held in Venice, Italy at the Palazzo del Casino Venice
Convention Center.
Scientists from all European countries took part in this congress. Representatives from Russia and Kazakhstan participated from the near abroad countries. The program of the congress was interesting and varied in format (lectures of speakers, lunch symposia, oral presentations, conversations and discussions). Issues of diagnosis, treatment of thrombosis, tactics of using modern oral anticoagulants, venous thromboembolism were discussed. A separate symposium was devoted to problems of thrombosis in patients with malignant tumors.
Kazakhstan was represented by the Karaganda State Medical University with the report of the heads of the departments D.Zh. Taizhanova, L.E. Muravlyova and PhD student O.A. Visternichan.
