During the period from September 7 to January 11, 9 fourth-year students of «General medicine» specialty were in the Avicenna Tajik State Medical University in the flourishing city of Dushanbe of a developing country of Tajikistan. The education was conducted in the disciplines "Surgical diseases", "Obstetrics and gynecology", "Professionally oriented language" under the academic mobility program.

We should note the hospitality and honor of the tajik people that they have showed. We were greeted warmly, friendly and cordially. The characteristics of the tajik people is that they respect their traditions. Upon arrival, we were introduced to the university and the hospitals where we studied. In the process of teaching, lectures and studies we were taught by scientists, professors, associate professors and academicians of sciences. After mastering theoretical knowledge, we consolidated them with practical skills, visiting and assisting in operations.In parallel with the education, we managed to visit the sights of the sunny country of Tajikistan and broaden our horizons with new knowledge about the culture of the tajik people. We were also fortunate to meet and talk with the dean of the Tajik State Medical University.

We would like to express our gratitude to the Tajik State Medical University for the gained knowledge and invaluable experience, and also to thank the Karaganda State Medical University for the unique opportunity to study under the academic mobility program!
