From December 13-15, XVI Congress of Infectious Children of Russia "Topical issues of infectious pathology and vaccine prophylaxis" was held in Moscow. Organizers of the congress kindly provided an invitation for participation of young scientists from the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases. On behalf of our university 1 year residents in the “Infectious diseases, incl. children's” specialty Zh.Zh. Andasbaeva participated with poster report on the "Spectrum of serotypes of s.pneumoniae based on age and test material in the city of Karaganda", and D.B. Zhaksylykova with poster report on the topic "Treatment of children with intestinal infections." The head is the head of the Department of Children's Infectious Diseases, RAE academician, professor Rosalia Khasanovna Begaydarova.

Young scientists presented their poster presentations at the high level. Zhanat Andasbaeva was awarded 2^nd place and was awarded with a certificate from the President of the Association of Pediatric Infectionists of the RAS V.F. Uchaykin. Danara Zhaksylykova was awarded a diploma of the participant.
