There was held the winners award ceremony of the annual republican competition on student's grants of the First President Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty on November 21. 80best students will receive 40 thousand tenge monthly for excellent study.

Students of colleges and higher education institutions have undergone serious competitive selection before being awarded great honor of the scholar of Fund of N.Nazarbaev. Tashmetov Elyarbek Rozmatzhanovich, the surgeon-intern of the Karaganda State Medical University, became the owner of a grant of Fund of the First President of the Republic Kazakhstan for achievements in study, scientific, public work.

The grant of Fund of the First President of the Republic Kazakhstan is an encouragement of not only high progress, but also strong motivation to even great aspirations and progress.In total more than 650 student's applications have been submitted for the competition. Students presented Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Arkalyk, Atyrau, Karaganda, Kaskelen, Kokshetau, Kostanay, Kyzylorda, Pavlodar, Petropavlovsk, Semey, Taraz, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk, Shymkent. It should be noted that contestants should have not only good indicators of GPA, but also to be active in scientific and creative life of the educational institution.During the gala concert of Winners of Fund of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan scholars were honored at the State academic opera and ballet theater named after Abay.
