"Internship 2017" Olympic for students of senior  years became a good tradition in KSMU.

  The history of the tournament is as follows: in 2016, a student of the Faculty of Internship Madiyar Suleimenov addressed to the university sports club with a request to hold competitions for interns. The initiative found understanding and on November 2016 the Sports Club of the KSMU launched the I Olympic "Intern - 2016". So the collection of the competitions of KSMU was added with one more interesting tournament.

  II Student Olympic "Internship 2017" was solemnly opened by raising the flag and performing the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The group of modern dance "Yes-team" welcomed participants of the competition with a creative number.

  II Student Olympic "Internship 2017" was held in types of sports such as table tennis, chess, checkers, togyz-kumalak, basketball, volleyball and armwrestling. More than 300 students in the specialties of "Therapy", "Surgery", "Obstetrics and Gynecology + Stomatology", "Pediatrics" and "General Medical Practice" have applied for participation.

  The sportsmen of the "GMP" specialty won the first team place in the acute uncompromising struggle . "Therapy" in the second place, on the third is "Pediatrics", on the fourth place - "Surgery" and " Obstetrics and Gynecology + Dentistry " closes the five members of the team.

  All prize-winners of the competitions were solemnly awarded with certificates for participation, the winners of the Olympics were given the perpetual trophy for victory in competitions.
