Kazakhstan is a country of tolerance.
November 17, 2017 in the State Central Library of M.
O. Auezov held an event on the theme "Kazakhstan is a country of
tolerance", dedicated to the International Day of Tolerance. Students and
peoples of different nationalities living in Kazakhstan were invited to the
event. Representatives of the Uzbek, Tajik and Kyrgyz nationalities sang songs
of Russian and Kazakh nationality, reciting poems. A girl representing the
Chechen Republic showed a presentation about her customs and traditions. Also, there
were invited as guests, students - citizens of India, Darshan Kumar and
Dipanshu Dagar, studying at KSMU.
State Central Library of M. O. Auezov expresses gratitude to Darshan Kumar and Dipanshu Dagar for their story about their country and culture and performance of musical numbers. It is noted their organization and readiness to participate in this event.
KSU "The Centralized Library System of the city of Karaganda" is interested in further cooperation with foreign readers in carrying out mass events of our library.
