On October 18, the coordinator of the Erasmus + program in Kazakhstan, Tasbulatova Shaizada Umirzakovna, the project manager of the National Erasmus + Office in Kazakhstan, Asmatullaeva Nelli Smailovna, as well as representatives of three Kazakhstani universities: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, NarxozUniversity and Kazakh University of Economics, Finance and International Trade.

The purpose of the visit is monitoring of the Erasmus + International Credit Mobility projects in KSMU, Consultation meeting with the teams of the CBHE Erasmus + projects in KSMU, as well as familiarization with the progress of the project “WELCOME: Towards Incoming International University Communities”.

During the visit, there was held a meeting with the Rector of the KSMU, Professor R. S. Dosmagambetova. Then the monitoring participants got acquainted with the activities and results of the project, visited the WELCOME-center of our university, designed to adapt and work with foreign students, held a consultation session for university staff participating in projects funded by the European Union under the ERASMUS + program.

Also there was a meeting of the specialists of the International Cooperation and Project Manager of the National Erasmus + Office in Kazakhstan N. S. Asmatullaeva in the new Welcome center. ICD specialists presented necessary documents, ICM participants' reports, information on the recognition system and documentation from host universities. Afterwards the participants of the Erasmus + program: the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry A. S. Baimenova, the doctoral students Omarova Alua and Kultanova Elmira, the Senior Lecturer of the Microbiology Department A.B. Nikolaeva joined the meeting. The participants were asked questions about the process of holding the contest and competitive selection, the results of the trip and the acquired skills.
