On October 14, Sports club of KSMU together with the participants of the athletics section (coach Z.A. Akhmetov) organized the participation of the university team in the annual urban track-and-field cross-country race "Golden Autumn".

The track and field athletics race is aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and involvement of young people to physical training and sports. Boys competed at the distance of one kilometer and girls five hundred meters.

At the start of the track and field athletics cross our team consisted of:

  Koyshibaeva Ainur (6-127 GMT);

  Yendaltseva Vitalina (2-076 GM);

  Rebrina Oksana (5-126 GM);

  Nurbaykzyzy Zhanerke (4-022 GM);

  Abdimuratova Umіt (3-015 GM);

  Nurgaziev Beksultan (3-017 GM);

  Rogozin Vyacheslav (7-064 GM).

The weather was favorable for the competition. All the participants had a great mood and sporting excitement. Our young men and girls showed the will to win and excellent training and took third place in a tense struggle at a distance of 500 and 1000 meters.

All participants of the team were awarded memorable medals and valuable prizes.
