Further and further is distant from us the 9^th of May 1945, but we all still do remember at what a high cost this victory was deserved. Every year we celebrate this wonderful and, at the same, tragic holiday.

  A concert dedicated to the Great Victory is an essential part of the celebration. Participants of the concert were the people of different generations, but for each of them participation in the event was the tribute to their fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers.

The festive concert program included not only the songs of the war years, but also the poetry and theatrical productions about the war.

It is great responsibility to address to the people who defended our bright future, to whom we owe our lives.

Participants of the concert remembered their grandfathers and grandmothers who fought in that terrible war.

Academic Dean V.B. Molotov-Luchanskiy performed a profound lyrical song for the veterans titled “Beri shinel, poshli domoy” (Take your overcoat and let us go home!).

The organizers and participants of the concert program showed the greatness and tragedy of the battle for the motherland through the mass struggle of its defenders, tried to bring to the contemporaries the unfading pages of military history, to reflect the military and labor exploits of the Soviet people.
