On 14-15 May 2017 in Amsterdam (Netherlands) was held the 19th International Conference on Autopsy and Forensic Investigation. Within the framework of the conference were highlighted the experience and results of scientific research, conducted under the guidance of world scientists, in various areas of forensic medicine development.

The conference became a kind of platform for establishment of information exchange among the scientific forensic medical community, development of international cooperation and integration of Kazakhstan into the world scientific community. The leading scientists, engaged in research in various areas of forensic medicine, shared their research experience and talked about the results of their work. More than 100 scientists from Great Britain, Thailand, Malaysia, India, USA, Portugal, Spain, Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Belgium, Japan, Israel, France, Turkey, Kuwait and other countries took part in the conference. The results of studies in Kazakhstan were presented at this conference by Associate Professor of Department of Pathological Anatomy and Forensic Medicine of Karaganda State Medical University,  Mussabekova Saule Amangeldievna. She made a report on the topic “The possibilities of forensic investigation of saliva traces in spots on physical evidence after washing”. Within the conference were held plenary meetings and conducted work on thematic sessions in which were discussed the actual problems of forensic science.
