INTERNATIONAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY TO VILNIUS UNIVERSITY

In the framework of the external mobility (from 24 April to 2 May), acting Professor of Department of Biochemistry Neila U. Tankibayevaread lectures at the Medical Faculty of Vilnius University of Lithuania. She conducted lectures and practical lessons for students with proficiency and enthusiasm and managed to engage students in discussion of the covered topics: DNA migration; modern human gene pool; transcriptional, post-transcriptional and epigenetic regulation of gene expression; The “Human Genome” project. Outcomes and continuation.The classes were held as part of the curriculum of Lithuanian and international students of the 1 course of General Medicine, Pediatrics and Dentistry specialties.
