April 26, 2017 the International scientific-practical conference of students and Master’s students "Modern world and youth: vision and dialectics of development" was held in Karaganda economic university of Kazpotrebsoyuz. The students of group 1-032 “General medicine” Meruyert Nazarova and Valentina Barkhanskaya took the third place in the section “Development of national and foreign languages in modern conditions” (the scientific supervisor is the senior teacher of the Foreign Languages Department O.N. Sorokina), and also the student of group 1-035 “General medicine” Arina Akimova took the third place in the section “Social and humanitarian problems: state and solutions” (the scientific supervisor is the teacher of the Foreign Languages Department O.I. Levina).

April 28, 2017 the Republican scientific and practical conference of students, Master’s students, doctoral students and young scientists "Youth and global problems of modern times" hosted by "Bolashak" Academy was held. Our university was represented by the students of group 2-003 “Dentistry” Melani Ayubova and Elizaveta Batazheva (the scientific supervisor is the senior teacher of the Foreign Languages Department O.V. Kalinkina), the student of group 2-043 “General Medicine” Temiralan Serikbayev (the scientific supervisor is the teacher of the Foreign Languages Department O.I. Levina) and the student of group 3-002 “Pharmacy” Ekaterina Popova (the scientific supervisor is the senior teacher of the Foreign Languages Department R.S. Zhalikenova).The students were awarded with certificates for active participation.
