On Introduction of Mandatory Social Health Insurance
In accordance with the Law of the Republic
Kazakhstan “On Mandatory Social Health Insurance”, adopted on 16 November 2015 No.
405-V (valid since 16 March 2016), it is provided to introduce the mandatory social
health insurance (hereinafter – MSHI) from 1 July 2017.
A system of mandatory social health insurance (MSHI) is the national system of social protection in the field of public health.MSHI provides timely, accessible, qualified medical and pharmaceutical care to the system participants.
On 29-31 March 2017 at Kostanay Regional Hospital by the instructors of Karaganda State Medical University G.S Zhumabekova and E.K. Kaidar were conducted seminars on MSHI implementation in the Republic of Kazakhstan for doctors (98 people) and heads (26 people) of medical organizations of Kostanay region, namely chief physicians of healthcare organizations, their deputies, heads of departments, senior nurses and employees of financial-economic department. Total 124 people were trained.
The training of heads of medical organizations was held within three days (24 hours); the training of doctors was held within two days (16 hours).
The seminars included lectures, practical classes with oral questioning, testing and feedback.
The training seminar was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. During the feedback, participants noted that the information was accessible and that to their questions were given comprehensive answers.
