On 1-3 March 2017 in St. Petersburg was held the Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Infectious Pathology”. The conference was organized by the Ministry of Healthcare of the Russian Federation, Federal Medical-Biological Agency, Federal State Budgetary Institution “Children's Research and Clinical Center of Infectious Diseases of the Federal Medical and Biological Agency”, Health Committee of St. Petersburg, International Public Organization “Euro-Asian Society for Infectious Diseases”, St. Petersburg Public Organization “Man and His Health”, International Public Organization “Association of Doctors-Infectionists of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region”.

The participants of the conference were doctors, clinical residents, interns, master’s students, students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Ukraine, Belarus.

Karaganda State Medical University was represented by the four-year students of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry Shaumenkulova Fariza (4-089 group) and Beisen Nuraiym (4-077 group), who made a poster presentation on the topic “Epidemiological Situation of ARVI and Pneumonia in Karaganda Region in 2012-2016”.

The students were awarded a Diploma of participation in the Russian Scientific and Practical Conference“Actual Problems of Infectious Pathology”forthe poster on the topic“Epidemiological Situation of ARVI and Pneumonia in Karaganda Region in 2012-2016”.
