“Dormitory 1” Becomes Champion
In April 2014, the football fans of KSMU received a wonderful gift - the University Championship among the teams of the dormitories.For more than two years, the new tournament has showed its worth and gained a whole army of fans.
In the eve of the New Year 2017, the next 10-th championship was over. In November – December 2017, over 100 students of 11 teams contested the title of the strongest football team of KSMU. For participation in the championship applied the teams of the dormitories No. 1 and No. 2 (Abdіkhamitov Ersin, Captain), No. 3 (Seyіl Bіrzhan,Captain), No. 4 (Mergenbay Temirgali, Captain), No. 6 (Kaiyrken Madi, Captain), and five teams of students living in the rented apartments and one team of the Military Department (Abildinov Azamat, Captain).
From the first games of the championship have emerged the rivalry between two teams “Lodgers 1” (Sarsenbaev Kasym, Captain) and “Dormitory 1”(Mendygaliev Erdaulet, Captain). Moreover, the intrigue of this confrontation kept to the very end... Only face-to-face game in the last round designated the winner of the championship.
“Dormitory 1” has become the champion for the first time.

All team players who took prize-winning places were awarded the memorable prizes.
Following the tournament was defined the symbolic team of the championship:
“The Best Goalkeeper” - Shora Erlan (“Dormitory 1”);
“The Best Defender” - Kairbekov Almat (“Dormitory 3”);
“The Best Forward’ - Abdizhabbarov Shakhzod (“Lodgers 4”) and Rakhymbaev Alibek (“Lodgers 1”);
“The Best Player” - Mendygaliev Erdaulet (“Dormitory 1”)
In addition, for encouragement of the participants were entered additional nominations:
“The Most Useful Player” – Abdramanov Ayat (“Dormitory 4”);
“The Most Technical Player” – Ginayatov Rakhman (“Lodgers 4”);
“The Finding of the Tournament” – Ualiev Ernur (“Lodgers 1”).
The best players of all teams were also awarded the valuable prizes.
