On 6 December 2016 at the Dormitory No. 4 by the Department of Epidemiology and Communal Hygiene was conducted a training on HIV prevention among young people. The purpose of the training was to teach students to evaluate the own risks, to avoid dangerous situations and protect themselves and their loved ones from the infection.
1-4 year students of “Public health” and “Medical and preventive care” specialties, who live in the dormitory, attended the training.
At the beginning of the training was shown a film about the epidemiological situation of HIV infection in the world and in our republic, about the sources, modes and factors of transmission, the methods of prevention and diagnosis. The students of 4-004 group of “Medical and preventive care” specialty were the hosts of the training and conducted a game titled “Our Game”.

At the end of the training within the feedback by the participants of the training were expressed only positive opinions and proposals on regular conduction of similar activities.

The participants could adopt the prepared material and to deepen their knowledge on HIV infection. For the prophylactic purposes to all students were given the leaflets, condoms, notepads and notebooks.
