“We choose life”
On 25 November at the Theatre of Musical Comedy, the Youth Work Department together with the Ministry of Social Affairs of “Samruk” SR and the Regional Center for Prevention and Control of AIDS of Karaganda held an action in honor of the World AIDS Day.
The main objective of this action was to raise the awareness of all aspects of this disease among the population, especially young people, and to form tolerant attitude to people with HIV.
In memory of the victims of this scary disease, the activists of “Samruk” SR put the neon bracelets on the hands of the comers to the theater, and distributed the leaflets, notepads and calendars with the symbols of the action. At the end of the event was shown a social video film regarding the issue of unfair attitude to children with HIV status.
