26 October is the World Day Against Breast Cancer. Youth Work Department together with the activists of KazMSA conducted an event dedicated to this day. 

        The main purpose of the action was to draw attention to early detection of breast cancer. Breast cancer is a malignant tumor, occurring through malignant degeneration of normal cells.

Currently, every tenth woman in the world suffers from this disease. Depressing emotional impact on a person, undergoing the process of diagnosis establishing, treatment and social adaptation, is extremely negative.

        The event was started with the explanation of the structure, activity, goals and objectives of Medical Youth Association KazMSA. Then the audience listened to a lecture in the course of which in addition to general information on the disease, they learned about the prevention and early detection of breast cancer. At the end of the lecture, the activists of KazMSA played with the audience a few active games for development of team spirit.

       In summary, all participants unanimously acknowledged that they had learned a lot of new and useful information.
