Emergency conditions. Modern aspects of diagnosis and conducting emergency care
From the 13nd to the 17th of June,
on the basis of the Regional Ambulance Station of Karaganda, the Department of
Ambulance and Emergency Medical Care #1 conducted a master class on topic “Emergency
conditions. Modern aspects of diagnosis and conducting emergency care”.
The purpose of the master class was teaching modern methods of diagnosis and conducting emergency care in the cases of the most common urgent conditions among adults and children at the prehospital stage.
The tasks set before carrying out training, in particular, the presentation of modern aspects of the etiology, pathogenesis, classification, clinic and emergency treatment at most often met urgent conditions in the practice of emergency doctor, as well as teaching listeners basic actions for emergency treatment after the master class have been achieved.
Interactive teaching methods were applied in the process. In the Center of practical skills of KSMU, the audience had an opportunity to get acquainted with high-tech mannequin Sim Men, to work out practical skills of laryngoscopy technique, tracheal intubation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation with defibrillation, in conditions close to reality.
Upon completion of training, listeners of the master class obtained a full understanding of innovative methods of diagnosis and conducting emergency care; principles, basic aspects of activities of conducting emergency care at the prehospital stage in the cases of the most common urgent conditions in the practice of the emergency doctor.
