On April 11 certification of folk amateur talent groups of Karaganda region was conducted in the Palace of culture for Miners.

As is known, the degree «Folk» is assigned to the amateur team has reached a high level of artistic and creative results,  have a high performing skills and take an active part in the cultural life of the city and the region. Every five years the title must  be confirmed.

Our pride – Folk group of belly dance «Karakoz» was created in 1993. In 1997, the ensemble has earned the degree «Folk», and since that time ensemble bears it with the pride and dignity this title. Over the last 23 years the ensemble constantly develops and improves. All this time «Karakoz» is characterized by interesting stage performances, variety of repertoire and the national motifs. The great merit for this success belongs to the head of the ensemble M. Ye. Kosybaeva. Folk group of belly dance «Karakoz» is a multiple winner of city, regional and republican festivals. This title defense was already the fifth for our team.

This year the ensemble included the following compositions in the concert program: Indian dance «Nagada Sang Dhol», Kazakh folk dances «Mahabbat syry» and «Kyz sezіmі», Tajik dance «Gizhdalla», Tatar dance «Bie Kio», Caucasian «Lezginka» and «Russian dance».

Months of hard training were not in vain. All the dances were represented at the highest level! All participants tried to put their heart and soul to prove that the team is not in vain called «Folk». Great help had the support of the fans of KSMU and the presence in the auditorium the academic dean V. B. Molotov-Luchansky and Rector of KSMU R. S. Dosmagambetova.

By unanimous decision of the creative committee the oriental dance ensemble team confirmed the degree «Folk».

Folk group of belly dance «Karakoz» express the gratitude to Department of youth affairs for the assistance in preparing to National certification.
