On March 10, Department of youth affairs with the local Committee of KazMSA conducted debate tournament " Euthanasia : yes or no ?" in KSMU.

Euthanasia (from the Greek -. Good - death) - the termination of a    human’s  life who suffering from an incurable disease or experiencing excruciating pain.

Main aim of tournament was attemption to define how much a person is free in determine their own destiny. Who are the doctors who help to sick persons to make voluntary decision to go away – murderers or saviors ? 

The moderator of the tournament was a local officer of Human Rights Committee Sagat Ayaulym.

           During the tournament all participants were divided into two teams : the government and the opposition.  Both teams carefully and argumented expressed his point of view, confirming by arguments and facts. 

        The subject was so interesting that the guests were involved into the game with players actively participating in the discussion and asking tricky questions .        

        In the final resolution, the participants agreed that euthanasia is so sophisticated and controversial that it can not be solved within the framework of the discussion in one tournament.

We expect from our debaters new interesting topics and new tournaments.
