The master class on the topic "Psychosomatic disorders" (54 h.)was conducted at the Department of basics of psychology and communication skills of KSMU from 22 to 26 February 2016.

The teachers of the master class: Matsiyevskaya Larissa Leonardovna - Head of the Department of basics of psychology and communication skills, psychiatrist, psychotherapist of the highest category  and  Batyaeva Elena Hadzhimurzaevna - senior lecturer, doctor, psychologist.

The master class was attended by 12 people: MCF psychologists in Karaganda, doctors of mental occupations. Modern psychosomatics theories: psychological analysis, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations of many psychosomatic disorders were considered and were presented at the example of clinical cases during the master class. Psychotherapeutic techniques most effective for psychological correction of psychosomatic disorders were presented and the audience were trained by themselves in some models. Master Class was finished by the peculiar "round table" on the pressing issues of psychologists working in the health care system. Students expressed their hope for further cooperation and training.
