The VI International Youth Medical Congress "St. Petersburg Scientific Readings - 2015" was opened in the first St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician Pavlov from the 2 to the 4 of December of 2015 year.

7 course interns of thespecialty "General Medicine" Toiymbekova Nazerke, Makhmetov Berikbol and 3rd year students of the "General Medicine" specialty Kurmanbaeva Zhanar, Serikova Aselwereattended to the congress. The main goals and objectives of the Congress were: to stimulatescientifical researches of students and young scientists; to attract students to the scientific challenges of our time; to reveal the intellectual potential of the students and young scientists.

The congress was attended by students and young scientists from different countries, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Ukraine, Belarus, etc.

N.M.Toiymbekova was awarded by the Diploma of the I degree in the section "Pediatric Surgery". Scientific work of a intern, written under the direction of Master of Medicine Department of Pediatric Surgery E.E.Erbolganov, contained a reflection on "The choice of tactics of surgical intervention with a doubling of the upper urinary tract."

Zh.Zh.Kurmanbaeva was awarded the Diplom of participation from the name of the Head of the Department V.V.Tets at the Department of Microbiology.

Also the following persons took part at the congress: B.T.Mahmetov7 courseintern in the section «Hospital Surgery №1» with the scientific work on the theme: "Comparative analysis of the treatment of patients with ulcerative colitis," under the guidance of Ph.D. docent M.M.Zhanasova, and 3rd year student JJ Kurmanbaeva in the sectionof microbiology, virology, mycology with the scientific work on the theme: "Development and study of a new antiseptic", under the guidance of Ph.D. docent S.B.Akhmetova, A.S.Serikova in the section "Pathophysiology" with the scientific work on the theme: "The role of emotions in the growth and development of cardiovascular disease," under the guidance of G.B.Koyshigarina.

I would like to thank the Council of young scientists and students of KSMU headed by the Chairman Izdenov Aset Kayratovich and the Fund of the the First President of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation for the financial support and provided opportunity to visit and share our scientific researches in the international space.
