On November 6-8, XIII Republican " Nur Otan" Cup debate tournament dedicated to the 550 year of the Kazakh Khanate and the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan People's Assembly was conducted in Taraz .
Tournament passed in two formats: American parliamentary (APD) and British parliamentary (BPD) and there two languages were used: kazakh and russian. Student teams from different regions of Kazakhstan took part in the tournament.
Speaker of the debate club "Namys" Aizhan Malikaydar took the I place and was named the Best speaker of the Tournament. All participants of the tournament were awarded the honorary diploma and valuable prizes.As a result of the tournament next XIV Republican tournament will be held next year in Astana.
The debate club “Namys” express the gratitude to rector of KSMU R.S. Dosmagambetova and Department of youth affairs for the assisting in preparing to tournament.
