The international scientific-practical conference called “Advanced technologies on traumatology and orthopedics” which was dedicated to 100^th Anniversary of a professor H.Zh.Makazhanov was held on September 24-25^th, 2015, by Research Institute of traumatology and orthopedics, Kazakhstan Association of traumatologists and orthopedists, Karaganda State Medical University, Health department of Karaganda Region, and RCTO named after H.Zh.Makazhanova. The opening of the conference was held in a dramatic theatre named after S.Seifullin, section meetings were in KSMU and on the base of RCTO of H.Zh.Makazhanov.

In the ceremonial opening of the conference participated a rector of KSMU, professor R.S. Dosmagambetova, a director of RITO, professor N.D. Batpenov, a representative from the Ministry of Health and Social Development L.M. Orynhanova and a head of Regional Health Department E.Sh. Nurlybaiev.

During this conference considered such issues as orthopedical-traumotological assistance to population, injury prevention, innovative technologies in traumatology and orthopedics (arthoscopy and arthoplasty of large joints, vertebrology, osteosynthesis and etc.), multiple and reputed damages problems of children traumatology and orthopedics, radio diagnosis in osteology.

At the end of the conference the resolution was accepted.
