III CENTRAL ASIAN MEDICAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 65TH ANNIVERSARY OF KSMU WAS HELD IN KARAGANDA STATE MEDICAL UNIVERSITY
III Central Asian Medical Education Conference «MEDICAL EDUCATION – NEW HORIZONTS» was held in Karaganda State Medical University on the 5th -6th of October. The conference started with University days dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the university.
After the formal opening session the rector of KSMU, doctor of medical sciences, professor Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova presented the medal of the first rector of KSMI Petr Moiseevich Pospelov «For the contribution and development of KSMU» to the honorary guests, rectors and pro-rectors of KSMU of various years, department chairmen, deans and veterans of the university.
It should be noted that for the first time on the initiative of the University such conference was held in 2012. Karaganda State Medical University was the first and so far the only one in Central Asia gathering the representatives of medical education of neighboring countries and beyond for discussing topical issues and experience exchange.
