Veterans are  participants of the great feat and great tragedy.We owe it exactly to these people that we are alive. There are less and less of them every year.We, thankful descendants must do everything  possible to make them smile.

  On the eve of celebration of March 8,the Local Committee of Association of Medical students of Kazakhstan on behalf of the Karaganda State Medical University congratulated women-veterans of Great Patriotic War and Workers of the home front, that in different years worked in our university.

  Time spares nobody.Practically all  veterans have the problems with their health now.Many began to hear and see poorly, many of them do not get up from the bed, health and age let know about themself, but, in spite of all troubles, these people are always opened to communication.They listened our questions with interest and answered with visible pleasure.Telling about  the past, many could not restrain the tears:how they dug trenches in the war-time, how they worked without weekends for 14-15 hours, how they starved, how got the hateful “death notification” and how they together were glad to Great Victory.Interesting histories were told about the years of work in КSMU.They remembered the students and proudly told about their successes .So, the daughter of G.Shamseeva conducted an interesting excursion on archives, and presented to the students the rare photos and newspaper of 1973 with the article of the mother.V.Galkina presented the students the books and shared the photos of times of work in КSMU.All veterans met students with gladness, shared by interesting histories, remembrances, particles of the gone epoch.After such meetings students got a lot of impressions, a lot of different emotions, listening to the histories and talking to veterans.Students promised the veterans to not to forget them and visit as possible more often.

  Veterans are not forgotten and will be forgotten never, it was once again proved by the students of КSMU.We must remember and thank each of them for our blue sky, for peace - for everything.
