On the 5-th of March, B. Beysenov’s Karaganda State Academy of Ministry of Internal Affairs  held the opened debate tournament "Youth is an Intellectual Potential of Kazakhstan" devoted to the 20 anniversary of Assembly of the people of Kazakhstan.

After carrying out of the draw, guests were pleasantly surprised that subjects of resolutions were neutral therefore all participants played on equal terms.

Organizers distributed participants in different rooms, and the game began …

The amicable group of participants went to "Dastarkhan of the world friendship and unity", sharing impressions of the first half of tournament.

After the break, discussions proceeded with redoubled zeal. In hot debates and constructive dialogues time flew by quickly and imperceptibly. And here final time came. Ardent speeches filled a conference room of academy, but, despite the general heat, there was apple-pie order. It is necessary to tell that all game took place in the atmosphere of correctness and mutual respect. Upon termination of all performances, judges left for decision-making.

All participants gathered in the assembly hall again. Under a storm of applause the announcement of results of tournament began.

Representatives of qmu won a convincing victory in tournament. Our students: Fisenko Igor (2-074 GM), Danoyan Garik (1-075 GM), Malikaydar Ayzhan (2-032 GM) and Жүніс Aynur (4-003 PHC) won the first place in the Russian and in Kazakh leagues. Besides, by the unanimous decision of jury the student of KSMU Malikaydar Ayzhan was recognized as "The best speaker of tournament".

Awarding came to the end with the common photo and friendly exchange of impressions about tournament. All participants received a lot of pleasant impressions and found new friends.
