The objective of the program is the development of science-based technologies for the formation of a preventive environment and the promotion of public health.

Tasks:

1.  Development and improvement of technologies to influence managed risk factors of cardiovascular diseases at the primary health care level

2.  Development of evidence-based recommendations for optimizing the school environment for the preservation and strengthening of children's health

3.  Development of technologies for the assessment and management of occupational risks of health problems in the mining and energy industries

The objective of the program is to develop a strategy of methodological approaches for medical support, social protection and rehabilitation of the population of Kazakhstan by minimizing the medical, psychological and social consequences of man-made and environmental risk factors.

Tasks:

1.  Assessment of the amount and nature of negative technogenic and environmental risk factors with the ranking of the study areas according to the degree of environmental risk.

2.  A comprehensive description of the health status of the population living in conditions of the influence of radiation and non-radiation risk factors; development of a model for assessing the incidence in the studied regions.

3.  Analysis of the socio-economic status of territories with different levels of radiation and non-radiation risk.

4.  Assessment of the psychological state of the population living in ecologically unfavorable territories, and the system of medical and psychological protection from inadequate information on the effect of radiation and non-radiological risk factors on health status.

5.  Development of algorithms for rehabilitation programs for medical, socio-psychological protection of the population of environmental risk areas, schemes for the prevention and rehabilitation of oil and gas workers. Preparation of proposals on making additions and changes to the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of medical and social protection of the population, justification of environmental risk zones.

The objective of the program is development of a scientific basis for a personalized approach in the management of a number of significant diseases based on the molecular genetic characteristics of patients.

Tasks:

1.  Search and estimation of the biomarkers associating with colorectal cancer among the representatives of the main ethnic groups of Kazakhstan.

2.  The development of personalized approaches in colorectal cancer chemotherapy.

3.  Search and evaluation of the main genetic markers of resistance to antiplatelet therapy in patients with coronary heart disease among representatives of the main ethnic group of Kazakhstan.

4.  Study of genetic determinants associated with remodeling of the cardiovascular system.
