According to the results of the summer examination session of the 2017-2018 academic year, there was announced a competition for awarding vacant educational grants that were freed up in the process of obtaining higher education.

In accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of January 23, 2008, No. 58 "On Approval of the Rules for awarding an educational grant for payment of higher education" (with amendments and additions) and Academic Policy of the KSMU:

The award of vacant educational grants released in the process of obtaining higher education is carried out during the summer and winter vacations on available vacancies on a competitive basis.

Vacant educational grants, released in the process of obtaining higher education, are awarded on a competitive basis to students on a paid basis for this specialty. The competition is conducted based on the results of intermediate certification based on the GPA score for the entire period of study with the issuance of a certificate of awarding a vacant educational grant.

In the case of the same GPA scores, the eligible students are those who have grades A, A- ("excellent"), then grades from A, A- ("excellent") to B +, B, B- (" good "), then - mixed estimates for the entire period of study.

The following students are not allowed to participate in the competition during two academic periods (except in the absence of applicants for vacant educational grants):

-  transferred from one language of instruction to another;

-  transferred from other specialties;

-  transferred from other universities;

-  having disciplinary sanctions;

-  having academic debt;

-  readmission after the expulsion;

-  left on a repeated course of study.

In the absence of candidates in a particular occupation, the vacant educational grants, liberated in the process of higher education, are transferred on a competitive basis in the direction of preparation at the end of the summer and the winter examination session.

Documents are accepted until July 19, 2018.

List of required documents:

1. Application of the student on a paid basis to the rector of the university for further education on an educational grant.

2. The transcript of the student.

3. A copy of the identification document of the student.

4. Certificate of social status (if necessary).
