According to the agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia in the field of education, science and youth policy, the Department of International Cooperation is pleased to announce about the scholarships for research work at one of the Latvian university for period of 2018-2019 academic year.

Program conditions:

1.  The scholarship is provided for 5 months.

2.  Program is intended only for researchers and academic teaching staff of KSMU.

3.  Deadline – 1^st April 2018.

4.  Amount of Latvian scholarship is 30 EUR per day and 300 EUR per month for residency.

5.  English language of instruction.

6.  A researcher must stay in Latvia for the whole period, in the case of researcher’s absence in a host institution for more than 14 days, the scholarship will be cancelled.

7.  Paid place in a dormitory or a guesthouse is provided.

8.  Travel expenses and medical insurance are not covered by Latvian scholarship.
