A contest for a scholarship in the Summer School of Mapúa Institute of Technology (Manila, Philippines) from 10 to 29 July 2017 is open.

Summer School topic is “Renewable energy”. The following units will be proposed to the students within 3 weeks of training: resources of geothermal energy, sources of solar energy utilization, assessment of utilization of wind energy resources.

The deadline to submit applications in Mapúa Institute of Technology: till 31 May 2017.

Conditions of participation in program:

-  In case of scholarship award, Host University covers the following expenses: three-week course on “Renewable energy”, culture program, certificate of course completion, airport pick-up service and transfer, health insurance.

-  Accommodation, travel and personal expenses (nearly 300 USD) are covered by students individually.

Requirements:

-  Filling out an on-line application form and attaching the following documents: copy of valid biometric passport, certificate of enrollment, letter of recommendation issued by Home University, essay on topic “How is participating Mapúa International Summer School significant in your study plan?”, transcript of records, copy of IELTS / TOEFL certificate.
