DEAR RESIDENCY STUDENTS! A CONTEST FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE EXTERNAL ACADEMIC MOBILITY PROGRAM IN KOREA REPUBLIC FOR AN INTERNSHIP IS OPEN!
The training program includes: clinical training,
theoretical lectures on profiling disciplines, familiarity with advanced
medical technologies and the latest medical equipment, participation in
seminars and conferences, visits to medical institutions.
Requirements to applicants:
- can participate specialists of the following directions:
- Internal Medicine (Gastroenterology, Cardiology, Hemato-oncology, Pulmonology, etc.);
- Otorhinolaryngology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Colon and Rectal surgery, Transplantation and Vascular Surgery, Urology, Oncology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Dentistry, Rehabilitation medicine, etc.
- experience in the field of health care not less than 3 years;
- applicants who have completed training under the KHIDI program for the last 3 years can not participate in the program;
- excellent knowledge of korean or english (sufficient level for passing an official telephone interview).
- deadline for submission of documents: till May 12, 2017;
- PLACE: A designated teaching hospital.
- HOST ORGANIZATION: Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).
- for selected participants of the program, KHIDI will cover the flight expenses, medical insurance, accommodation and meals.
