Toleubekov Kuatbek Kuanyshbekovich

Toleubekov Kuatbek Kuanyshbekovich, a native of Karaganda, graduated from the Karaganda State Medical Institute in 1993 and from that moment linked his career with our university.

From 1993 to 1995 studied in clinical residency at the Department of Hospital Therapy of KSMI. In the course of his work at the Department he became a cardiologist, a specialist of high qualification. He entered the postgraduate course in 1998, defended a dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.

In different years of work at the department, he headed the educational work with future graduates, was recognized as the best curator of the faculty and the university, was the head teacher of the graduating department. In the period from 2011 to 2017 he worked as Dean of the Faculty of General Medicine and Dentistry with the number of students - 7,500 people.

During this period it was possible to establish cooperation with foreign partners, to achieve recognition of our university in India. This allowed to increase the contingent of foreign students and reach currently 1500 contingent of foreign nationals studying at the university. In this regard, an international medical faculty was organized and from 2018 to 2023 it was headed by Toleubekov K. K.

All accumulated experience was successfully used at the new faculty, students' knowledge has significantly improved, students' motivation to acquire knowledge has increased, new methods of educational work have been introduced, adaptation processes of international students to all aspects and aspects of student life have noticeably improved.

K. K. Toleubekov was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Work of NCJSC "Karaganda Medical University" in 2023.
