At the end of 2014, the second year PhD student Zhumaliyeva A. Vera undertook scientific training which was  necessary for doctoral research.

This training was implemented by foreign scientific advisor, head of Oncology Department with the Course of Palliative Medicine at Lodz (Poland) Medical University, head of Department Palliative Medicine  of The II Clinical Hospital, Professor Alexandra Ziolkowski-Rizh.

The main aim was not only  to directly increase the sampling frame for the study, but also PhD student wanted to get solid answers to all the questions of methodological and clinical problems that usually arise in the course of work on the study.

Our PhD student had got a unique opportunity to explore aspects of the organization and management of Inpatient and Outpatient medical care in accordance with current EU standards.

During the work in the WAP Hospital of Medical University of Lodz (Poland) Zhumaliyeva Vera managed  not only to work in the Department of palliative medicine, hospice, Home-hospice  participating in the supervision of patients on the ward and hospice, but also took participation in scientific discussions of the targeted therapy of pain in cancer patients.

Some new pharmacological groups and form of painkillers, which are not included in the Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were studied in details.

Quality search in electronic databases, additionally to the literary review of some recent relevant information had been done due to openness and enhance access in Lodz Medical University.

Our second year  PhD student Zhumaliyeva A. Vera would like to thank her foreign advisor Alexandra Ziolkowski-Rizh for  the well-organized training. She also would like to thank the entire staff and rector of the Lodz medical University professor Pawel Gorski for the opportunity and the desire to cooperate for the implementation of high-quality foreign scientific training in progress PhD programs.
