Accreditation of educational programs

In the period from May 24 to May 26, 2023, a specialized accreditation was held at the Karaganda Medical University by the independent accreditation agency "Eurasian Center for Accreditation and Quality Assurance of Education and Healthcare" (EAC).

14 educational programs are presented for accreditation: 7R01103 Allergology and Immunology adult, children; 7R01102 Anesthesiology and intensive care adult, children; 7R01104 Gastroenterology adult, children; 7R01123 Pulmonology adult, children; 7R01105 Hematology adult; 7R01106 Pediatric surgery; 7R01119 Ophthalmology adult, children; 7R01128 Urology and Andrology adult , children's; 7R01109 Clinical Pharmacology; 7R01131 Endocrinology Adult, Children; 7M10103 Nursing; 8D10140 Pharmacy; 8D07201 Pharmaceutical production technology; 8D10101 Nursing Science

The expert commission consisted of: Chairman – Kudabaeva H.I., Associate Professor, PhD, professor of the NAO “West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov"; foreign experts - Ryzhkin S.A., MD, Head of the Department of Additional Professional Education of the Russian Medical Academy of Continuous Professional Development (Moscow);– Afrikyan Sh.G., PhD in Pharmacy, Associate Professor of Yerevan State Medical University named after M. Heratsi, Republic of Armenia; national experts from NAO "Astana Medical University", NAO "Semey Medical University", NAO "Kazakh National Medical University named after S.D. Asfendiyarov"; NAO "West Kazakhstan State Medical University named after Marat Ospanov"; Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Scientific Research Institute of Eye Diseases; expert- representative of practical healthcare - KGP "Regional Clinical Hospital" of the Department of Healthcare of the Karaganda region; expert – representative of doctoral students - NAO "E.A. Buketov Karaganda University"; expert – representative of residents - NAO "Astana Medical University".

Within the framework of the visit program, meetings were held with the teaching staff, undergraduates, doctoral students and residents, employers and graduates of accredited educational programs.

During the visit, the members of the commission got acquainted with the work of the Center for Simulation and Educational Technologies, the library, the Student Service Center, the Department of Academic Work, and also visited the clinical bases of the university.

According to the results of the visit, the members of the external expert commission noted: well-coordinated work of the university staff, good resource provision of the educational process and recommended to accredit educational programs for a period of 5 years.
