Discussed priority areas of rehabilitation and balneology

On December 9-10, 2021, the National Center for Children's Rehabilitation of the UMC Corporate Foundation, NGO "Association of balneologists and rehabilitologists" organized the VIII Republican Scientific and Practical conference "Priority areas of rehabilitation and balneology", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The conference was held with the international participation of representatives of eleven countries, where speakers from such countries as Italy, USA, Australia, Russia, Germany, Ukraine were invited.

The conference discussed issues of global and domestic trends, exchange of experience, problematic issues and the development of partnerships in the field of rehabilitation.

 The speakers from the NPJSC "Medical University of  Karaganda" were M.D., Professor Kispayeva T., who made a report "Cognitive diagnostics and rehabilitation after COVID - 19 in the conditions of reforming nursing healthcare" and Seitbayeva M., a graduate student of the School of Nursing Education, who prepared a report "Non-drug correction of cognitive disorders in patients who have suffered COVID-19" (co-author prof. Kispayeva T.). In addition to the face-to-face performance, students, undergraduates of the School of Nursing Education of the NPJSC "MUK" took an active part in poster presentations: a student of the 1-010 group of SD Fazlayeva N., undergraduates Seitbayeva M. and Abileva S., presenting a poster article on the topic "Features of nursing support in the prevention of depression in patients who have undergone COVID-19" (scientific supervisors Kispayeva T., Omarkulov B.).

The conference was also actively attended by undergraduate students in the specialty "Nursing" Karatayeva Y., Goncharova T., Lim A., Sagyndykova K. (teacher Kispayeva T.).
