Establishing cooperation with Pakistan

On June 30, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary
and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Republic of
Kazakhstan visited the Karaganda Medical University.
Meeting with MUK acting Board Chairman -
Rector - Anar Akylbekovna Turmukhambetova was held within the framework of the
visit. Also, the meeting was attended by the dean of the International Faculty
of Medicine K.K. Toleubekov, Deputy Dean for Academic Work and Science of the
International Faculty of Medicine K.K. Sarsenbayev and the head of the
international cooperation department M.V. Uspanova.
Vectors of cooperation of Pakistani medical
universities with the Karaganda Medical University were discussed during the
negotiations. Cooperation is to be realized the in the field of science and
education, as well as the possibility of admission of applicants from Pakistan
to MUK.
Mr. Ambassador was familiarized with the
structure of the university, including the museum, the Research Center and the
library.
Following the visit, the Ambassador gave a
high assessment to the university and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation.
