Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology Ya.G. Turdybekova, within the framework of academic mobility, a cycle "Operative surgery in obstetrics and gynecology" was conducted for 6th year students of the medical faculty at the Ryazan State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Classes were held from 03.30.21 to 04.08.21 on the ZOOM platform.

The aim of this cycle was to improve the skills of operative surgery in obstetrics and gynecology. The training was carried out in the form of practical exercises using surgical instruments, mannequins, special videos on the subject of the training.

In the course of practical training, students recalled the topographic structure of the anterior abdominal wall, analyzed the methods and types of surgical approaches in obstetric and gynecological operations. Each student practiced the skills of suturing, tying simple, surgical and nautical knots. In the course of practical exercises, the solution of situational problems, the modeling of clinical cases, the analysis of organizational and technical errors made before and during the surgical intervention were carried out.
