Mixed martial arts tournament

An open tournament on mixed martial was held in Karaganda hosted arts (section wrestling among men), dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. From team of Medical University of Karaganda participated 4 students-Shirinbekov Yrskeldi, in weight category-60kg, Nagyzkhan Sanzhar, in weight category up to 65 kg, Berkinbay Maksat, in weight category up to 75 kg and Kenzheev Bekmurod, in weight category up to 85 kg.

In total, 83 participants participated the tournament. Bronze medalists were Naishan Sanjar and Berni Maksat, and the champion of the tournament in was Kenzheev Bekmurod in the weight category up to 85 kg.
