On December 7, our Alma mater hosted a regional debate tournament in the framework of the program «Rukhani Jangyru».

The tournament was attended by: 24 teams in the Kazakh League - from KarSU, KarSTU, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Polytechnic College, KEUK, KGIU (Temirtau), students of our University;

10 teams in the Russian league - from KarSTU, Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, College of Economics, Business and Law, KEUK, and students of our University.

The debate tournament was held in the APF (American parliamentary format) and Lincoln-Douglas format in two languages: Kazakh and Russian.

The awards of the tournament were distributed as follows: according to the results of the tournament of the Kazakh league «Namys»:

I place - students of the KGIU (Temirtau). 

II place - cadets of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan. 

III place – students of the KarSU.

«Lincoln-Douglas» format

The nomination «Best speaker» was won by a cadet of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The student of the KGIU (Temirtau) won in the nomination «The Best aspiration».

The tournament results of the Russian league «Insight» are the following:

I place - students of the Karaganda Medical University - Artem Savelyev, Nargiz Kuatova.

II place - students of the KarSU.

III place - cadets of the Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
