On June 13, 2019, a ceremonial meeting was held at the Medical University of Karaganda to celebrate the Day of the Medical Worker.

 The medical profession is one of the oldest and most respected professions in the world. Perhaps there is no other specialty that requires such extensive knowledge, high responsibility and real professionalism, because the cost of a doctor’s mistake is often someone’s life. That is why the professional holiday “Day of the Medical Worker” is a tribute of sincere respect and recognition of the enormous role of doctors in the life of every person.

 The official part began with the congratulatory speech of the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Medical University of Karaganda, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Raushan Sultanovna Dosmagambetova.

 For their high professionalism and conscientious work, employees of the Medical University of Karaganda were awarded with the «Еңбек ардагері» medals of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

- Bazyak Yuri Ivanovich - Assistant of the Department of Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry and Rehabilitology;

At the conclusion of the gala evening, the creative teams of the university pleased the audience with bright concert numbers. The best performers and dance groups of the Youth Department presented their art to the university employees.
